Its name is linked with the sea, rivers and lakes; it is the nawal of water. On Imox people ask for rain, for the return of someone who has left home or country, and for calm in the mind, in the weather and in troubles at home. People born on Imox are said to be hard-working, intuitive and creative.
After the text of the Komon Tohil group of K'iche' daykeepers (ajq'ijab') of Zunil, Quetzaltenango, published by the National Museum of the American Indian (Smithsonian) in “Living Maya Time”.

A living calendar
The Cholq'ij is a living spirituality, not a memory of a vanished people. The meaning of a day is given by an ajq'ij, with the person in front of them, looking at the nawal, the number and the rest of the count; this page can only give the general frame and predicts nothing. If you want to know more about your nawal, go to an ajq'ij of a Maya community.
Dates are calculated with the GMT correlation (584283), the one that agrees with the count the ajq'ijab' of the Guatemalan highlands have kept without a break.
