Mars retrograde: every date until 2030
The next time Mars is retrograde is from 10 January 2027 to 1 April 2027.
About every two years and two months, Mars seems to run backwards for around ten weeks. This time it is the Earth that overtakes: it passes Mars on its inner orbit, and from here it looks as if Mars were going back. Tradition reads these weeks as a time when strength turns inwards: old wishes are put to the test.
