Ascendant calculator: what is my rising sign?
The ascendant, or rising sign, is the zodiac sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of your birth. Tradition says: the Sun sign shows who you are, the ascendant how you come across to others.
The calculation runs in your browser; nothing is sent. Summer time and time zones of earlier years are taken into account. Because the ascendant changes sign about every two hours, the exact time of birth matters; it is usually on the birth certificate.
