The sky today
Moon in Gemini · waning moon
It is Libra season. The Moon is in Gemini today. That means: there is a lot of talk and little that gets finished. While the moon is waning, from full moon back to new, the same rule turns to what grows below ground: carrots, onions, potatoes, flowering bulbs and perennials. In the old almanacs Gemini counts as a barren sign.
Moon trine Sun · Moon sextile Saturn
At the Moon stands well with the Sun: You are at one with yourself today, and others notice. At the Moon is on friendly terms with Saturn: A good day to move something long-winded forward bit by bit.
Saying of the day
“For every fog in October, a snow in the winter.” An old saying that counted the October fogs to know how many snowfalls the winter would bring.
