The sky today
Change of sign · · Leo → Virgo
It is Libra season. At the Moon moves from Leo into Virgo. That means: the small things stand out, the big ones wait. While the moon is waning, from full moon back to new, the same rule turns to what grows below ground: carrots, onions, potatoes, flowering bulbs and perennials. In the old almanacs Virgo counts as a barren sign.
Moon sextile Venus · Moon sextile Mercury
At the Moon is on friendly terms with Venus: Today you are welcome everywhere. There is a compliment in the air. At the Moon is on friendly terms with Mercury: A call or a message clears up more today than expected.
Saying of the day
“For every fog in October, a snow in the winter.” An old saying that counted the October fogs to know how many snowfalls the winter would bring.

The sky is computed and can be checked. The readings are tradition, told as such: a horoscope is entertainment, not a forecast.
