The sky today
Change of sign · · Capricorn → Aquarius
It is Libra season; on 23 October the Sun moves into Scorpio. At the Moon moves from Capricorn into Aquarius. That means: you want peace and a little distance from everyone. The old almanac rule says to sow annual flowers and the crops that bear above ground, such as beans, corn and tomatoes, while the moon is waxing, from new moon to full. In the old almanacs Aquarius counts as a barren sign.
Moon square Venus
At the Moon stands at odds with Venus: Today you want to be liked and so you say yes too often. Saying no kindly is kind too. Until the Moon is without connection: better to wait than to agree in that time.
Saying of the day
“For every fog in October, a snow in the winter.” An old saying that counted the October fogs to know how many snowfalls the winter would bring.
