Moon calendar for cleaning windows: December 2026
The old moon calendars name good days even for cleaning windows. You clean with a waning moon, and preferably on a day when the Moon is in an air sign.
Good days
Thu 3 (Libra), Fri 4 (Libra), Wed 30 (Libra), Thu 31 (Libra)
With a waning moon in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius, the panes are said to dry without streaks.
Better not
Sat 5, Sun 6, Mon 7, Tue 15, Wed 16, Thu 17, Thu 24, Fri 25
When the Moon is in a water sign, in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, the panes are said to streak more easily.
The Moon's position is computed for every day at noon, Central European Time. The rules are tradition, as the old moon calendars hand them down, not a promise. The whole calendar: moon calendar.
